This multi-generational workshop, inspired by council practice and South African “Indaba,” takes place weekly on Tuesdays from 4-6 pm, both virtually and in person. It includes guided mindfulness meditation, free-writing exercises, and personal goal-setting. Participants develop communication skills and the ability to listen with an open heart while holding space for others. This is the heart of our community, providing an entry point for those interested in Street Poets’ work and methodology as well as a welcome home space honoring its original roots as a reentry program.
