Poetic ReFrames is a transformative 6-month filmmaking program for system-impacted and at-promise youth. Over the first three months, mentees learn essential filmmaking skills like screenwriting, acting, and post-production through workshops led by industry professionals. The following three months focus on virtual check-ins with mentors, writing projects, and exposure to industry artists. The program culminates in a red-carpet-style premiere where youth showcase their short films, expressing their unique perspectives and lived experiences. This program fosters self-confidence, creative thinking, and technical skills while offering a pathway to personal and professional growth.
